Project Description

Total concept daylight – and air inlet for Mts. Bezu

One concept for more daylight and fresh air as well as the regulation of wind influence in the stable? The LuxAir system was used in combination with special wind pressure hoods for the newly built calf shed of Mts Bezu in Haulerwijk. Both products were developed by Bouwimpex.

The side facades of the newly built shed are fitted with 125 running metres of Bouwplast recessed windows where an aerodynamic air intake valve is built-in. This ensures maximum daylight intake as well as optimal air supply and exhaust system in the shed.

On each valve a special wind pressure hood is placed on the outside of the facade. In this way, weather influences are largely eliminated. The hoods are constructed from Bouwplast Plus panels (colour antracite) and Bouwplast transparent panels. The latter guarantees additional light transmission.

Mts. Bezu is ready for the future and with these solutions contributes to more animal welfare in the shed!
