Trade-Mission Belarus successful
14-06-2010

From 7 - 11 June 2010 Bouwimpex took part on a Netherlands Agricultural Trade Mission to Belarus. This mission was very successful as Belarus is trying more-and-more to expand its production of agricultural products and improve its productivity. This could also be interesting for well-organised Dutch companies, also in the modern pig farming sector. Next to visiting the Belagro fair in Minsk also a Government state-farm for 2200 sows was visited.

Also Mr. Binnenmars from Beerzerveld (Holland) choose for his new carwash for the watertight Bouwplast-plus panels. "My construction-company informered me that they use these click-panels especially in modern pig farming. My simple conclusion is that when those panels can resist heavy pigs, we also can build the walls in my new carwash", said Mr. Binnenmars. "The panels are installed quick, simple and completely watertight and do not have the problems which normal tiles have. I really like these panels".

Farmer saves money by using Bouwplast panels
20-01-2010

Pig farmer Van Berkel from Megen (The Netherlands) recently built a new shed to accommodate fattening pigs and wanted to build solidly but as inexpensively as possible. Van Berkel achieved this by purchasing and installing most of the building materials himself without, however, making any major concessions on quality.

The shed has 16 sections each with 12 pens. By choosing for Bouwimpex plastic animal shed interiors Van Berkel saved about € 10,000 because these panels can be assembled exceptionally efficiently and quickly. This allowed a significant saving to be achieved in installation and labour costs both for fitting out the pens and constructing the dividing walls. These Bouwplast panels were supplied by Bouwimpex dealer Tecopor. Managing the construction himself saved Van Berkel about 20% of the total construction costs.
